Why build a snowman

My kids have always been a little differnet when it comes to their ideas. For example they had to make a drawing of a dragon doing something and include background. Conner draws a dragon in a cave with a whole bunch of bones around him, Sarah on the other hand draws hers sitting by a campfire roasting marshmellows with his dragon breath. And then Nolan draws his sitting in a boat in the ocean fishing, and frying the fish with dragon flames before eating it.

So it should have come to no surpise when instead of a snowman my childern build a snow catapillar that you can ride.

  2. Well, I guess I just have to add that my children are very creative. I had a really active imagination as a kid. I was always scolded for daydreaming or not paying attention because my mind would always wander off into the great blue beyond. Okay, I'm drifting again:-)

Anyway, our children have an innocence that we are very thankful for. The place we live in and the people we have surrounded ourselves with make for a wonderful environment for our children to grow up in. As difficult as society can be, we are at least afforded an opportunity to adjust our children to it at a rate and in a way that we see fit. I think they will be okay. I often tell them that their opportunities are only limited by their vision. With that in mind, they will be very successful, Lord willing.
